The ambulance service plays a pivotal role in providing emergency care for patients suffering from a wide range of life threatening and less critical medical conditions.
We design and engineer our cylinders in line with clinical progress, meeting the unique needs of ambulance crews and first responders. Our lightweight, integral valve cylinders demonstrate BOC’s unrivalled commitment to improving ambulance crew performance, reducing costs, and optimising patient care.
Our new 1litre cylinders, for paramedics on bikes or in cars who are first to arrive at an incident, make use of the very latest materials for superior performance and lightweight portability and are now available for oxygen and ENTONOX gases.
Carrying as much gas as possible, while not increasing the size of the cylinder, is important and convenient for paramedics. In yet another innovation, we have increased the pressure in our popular portable cylinders to maximise the amount of gas that can be carried. This gives added reassurance for paramedics and patients as there is less chance of running out of gas, or having to swap cylinders during patient transport and treatment.
We also supply a range of emergency resuscitation equipment via our LIFELINE kit, which is designed not just for use by medical professionals such as doctors and dentists but also by appropriately trained first aid personnel within the workplace and community. Having immediate access to the right emergency equipment along with the right training for those first on the scene has the potential to save lives.
